Banana pops/dippies
I love bringing fun into food and especially to take the standard and make it seem a little ‘treaty’.
These are super fun, simple, and you can tailor to your child.
I take a popsicle stick, cut it in half with scissors and then sandpaper the end to make it smoother. Actually, the rougher end should be down, but in deference to the pretty photo I did it upside down – oops!
Take slices of banana and dip in jam, peanut butter, choc spread, yoghurt, or other spreads that rock for your child – honey?
We can then dip further if we want to. Along the bottom row I have star sprinkles, crushed nuts, seed pieces or choc chips (with thanks to my neighbour Rachel for providing emergency sprinkles!)
