French toast with chocolate sauce
This is AMAZING!!
I have included a recipe for chocolate sauce which is just delicious inside the French toast.
Perfect for breakfast, a brunch or even a dessert.
If eggs are not currently accepted you can reduce the quantity and it may be something that is within the comfort zone.
For children stuck on plain toast this could be a new option.
French toast
2 slices of bread (I used wholemeal)
1/3 cup milk
1 egg (or less for non-egg lovers)
Chocolate sauce (halve for test amount)
Method
Whisk egg and milk together in a shallow bowl
Spread the chocolate sauce on one slice of bread and place other slice on top.
Immerse the bread in the egg/milk mixture
Fry on a medium/high heat each side until browning
Serve immediately
