Chocolate truffles (with cheese!)

I made a batch of these today and gave them to the crash test dummies, um, teens. I realized the boys kept disappearing into the kitchen and funnily enough my truffles disappeared too…

These are super simple, decadent and will I’m sure, tick boxes for many picky eaters.

A lovely treat!

Recipe

Chocolate – I used 72% Whitakers, but I would recommend starting with your child’s favourite kind (dark chocolate does have a few health benefits – like antioxidants and being good for the brain)

Cream cheese – I use Philadelphia as I like the taste and texture.

Ratio – double the amount of chocolate to cream cheese and the flavour of the cheese will disappear. You can adjust to taste.

Method – Soften both and then whiz in the blender/food processor, or mix thoroughly by hand (I used the microwave to soften as it’s easy!)
