Cucumber boats

The inside of cucumbers can be a bit of a challenge for some picky eaters. However, creating boats removes the wettest part.

Here we have them filled with peanut butter, yoghurt, and cheese. You would of course use whatever rocks for your child.

Or we can go large and add sails! Squares of paper secured with a cocktail stick. Remember it’s often not about the eating to begin with, it’s about interest and interaction.

My boys would have gone mad for these when younger! Actually, Joe scoffed the leftovers today…
