Candied grapes

Many fussy eaters like grapes which are crunchy, sweet and travel-well.

I was looking for ideas to change them up and discovered candied grapes – who knew!?

I gave these a go and even though I’m not really a sweet tooth these were awesome and super simple.

If a child already eats grapes, it’s a good way to offer something new.

If a child doesn’t eat grapes yet perhaps this a new way to serve them.

The outcome is the normal grape crunch but with a sweet burst. The flavour of the jelly/jello determines whether there is also a sour undertone. I used lime so it was a fabulous sweet/sour combination.

Recipe

Wash grapes
Roll them in jelly (jello) powder
Place in fridge for about an hour
