Strawberry ghosts
Strawberries are in – yeah – just in time for Halloween.
Here in NZ fruit and vegetables are very seasonal so can only be bought at certain times of the year.
These strawberries are a fun idea and easy to do with the children.
Creating fun things helps to generate interest for fussy eaters. Over time interest moves us closer to eating.
I have dipped mine in yoghurt and then used raisins (I cut with scissors) for the eyes and the mouths.
Optional – you can freeze so they have a crispy outside.
Optional – you can use pieces of chocolate for the facial features.
Option B is dipping the strawberries into chocolate. You could use the choc sauce recipe here: https://theconfidenteater.com/blog/funfoodideasforfussyeaters/avocado-recipes-for-fussy-eaters/choc-avocado-sauce-fun-recipes-for-fussy-eaters-and-picky-eaters/
