Hummus is one of the 5 a day given that it’s made from chickpeas which count as a vegetable!
It can also be a bit ‘claggy’ in a sandwich so in this one I’ve used an extra ingredient to crisp it up.
You could do the same in a regular bread sandwich.
Recipe – hummus wrap
Wraps or bread
Slices of apple to give sweetness & crunch or swap apple for sliced cucumber
Grated cheese or carrot – optional
Spread wrap with hummus
Roll and cut into appropriate sized pieces
