Often changing eating patterns is a process. It is normal for it to take time and for there to be steps forwards and steps backwards.
If your child is older, has additional challenges, is extremely rigid in their approach to food or anxious (or a combination), it will likely be an ongoing journey to more confident eating. However, it also can be a time of fun around food.
