Mini chicken tenders
Chicken is frequently accepted by fussy eaters although often in the form of chicken nuggets.
Moving to another form of chicken or starting with chicken is often best done in ‘miniature’. Small is almost ALWAYS best for picky eaters.
Accepting something tiny is less overwhelming and challenging than bigger pieces.
Here I’ve made mini chicken tenders as I feel these are far more approachable.
To make them, I cut small pieces from a big piece, crumbed them, and quickly pan fried until crispy. If preparing for a fussy eater I would go very heavy on the crumb if that is easier for a child.
They were pretty good!!
