Pancake ‘sandwiches’ or ‘hot dogs’
Having a child that happily eats pancakes/crepes is great as they are so versatile.
Using a favoured food to either increase comfort by changing the look or the texture is valuable so looking for ways to do the normal differently is something I always advise.
An accepted food can also be paired with another food to work on combining (mixing is often difficult). Or it can help with accepting a food that is slightly outside the comfort zone.
Having additional options for the lunchbox is also always a win!!
Here we have a cheese ‘sandwich’ and the inside of a soon to be hot dog.
Nutritionally these both tick boxes as a lunch option – even better with a bit of veg included 😊
Obviously you’ll be looking for what rocks for your child so that may be ham or Vegemite or a cheerio.
