Roasted tomatoes
These taste AMAZING but have a texture that could be quite challenging for some picky eaters.
If you have a tomato eater it’s a great way to segue from uncooked tomatoes towards a sauce. The taste is super sweet.
If we have a child that doesn’t eat tomatoes, we can talk about how roasting them makes them lovely and sweet and we can offer to dip a finger in to taste.
We could also smoosh onto a pizza base as the sauce or add to pasta or chicken, for example.
