Wrap week – Quesadillas
I love these as they are super simple and quick to make, plus a crowd pleaser. Although they’re best served hot they can work cold for the lunchbox too.
They are versatile, as you can go as complicated or basic as you wish.
These are a store-bought wrap with cheese inside (grated melts more quickly) and pan fried in a bit of oil for a minute or so each side. Fry until slightly browned and the cheese melts.
Child that doesn’t like melted cheese? – pan fry the bread and then add grated cheese once cooled.
Child that doesn’t eat cheese yet? – ham, sliced cheerios, or even peanut butter all work.
If it’s something new for our child bringing them into the kitchen to help or to see what we’re doing is often a good idea. As are tiny portions.
Have you tried these?
