Any time we change up a food it’s a good thing 😊
For children who eat yoghurt, bark is a fun way to present it. Bark can also be a good start for getting it out of a pouch, if that’s a challenge.
For children who don’t eat yoghurt this can be fun to try.
I’ve done the budget/easy version here. A plastic lid with a smear of the favourite yoghurt on it, placed in the freezer until it goes hard. Carefully remove (I wasn’t very careful as you can see in the next photo!).
- In the photo on the left is a plain yoghurt, you can use any flavour that rocks for your child.
- The second one has a sprinkle of cocoa powder. This could be choc chips or fruit puree or sprinkles. Jazz it up however you like.
- The third is yoghurt mixed with cream. The taste is more like ice cream so could be a good option for those children who like that but not yet yoghurt. It’s a great snack or dessert.
