No bake choc cake

2 ingredients only, one of them a fruit – gasp!

More of a solid mousse than a cake

But simple, rich and delicious

*Recipe – No bake choc cake

1 cup apple (peeled, diced, softened)
¾ cup regular dark chocolate (at least 60% cocoa to ensure it sets). I used Cadbury (cheapest!)

Method

Line a baking dish with greaseproof paper (I also greased with butter). Allow enough paper to pull the cake out of the dish.

Peel, dice, and cook the apple until super soft (use pan or microwave)

Melt the chocolate (I just microwaved)

Allow both to cool a little before blending together in a food processor until smooth

Spoon into prepared dish

Place in the fridge for 4 hours or more until set

Remove gently from the dish

Keeps well in the fridge

*Thanks to Kirbie’s Creations for recipe concept
