Simple is where I prefer to be! This is a great way to transform a banana from an everyday fruit into something unique or funny or interesting.
If your child doesn’t eat bananas then doing this – or having them do this – is a great way to put the focus on the fruit but without it being about the eating. Any interest is a positive. Do not discount the importance, especially with a super picky eater.
For those children who do eat them, sending a banana in the lunchbox with a special message or picture can be a lovely way to connect with your child when they are away from home.
