Broccoli turtle

A friend of mine showed me this and I was stupidly excited!

Broccoli stalks can be less confronting than the florets for many children as they are crunchy, bland in flavour and don’t have a challenging texture.

And then, we can make them into something a little more interesting. Who doesn’t love turtles!

I have always cooked up stalks as well as the florets so aside from my fussy middle-aged ‘boy’ we all eat them.

If you have a child who likes crunchy, raw veg these are definitely worth a whirl!
