Rice bubble crackers
These are so delicious!
They are also a fabulous alternative to bought crackers.
High protein, no long list of ingredients.
A little tricky to roll, but aside from that super simple.
Recipe – Rice bubble crackers *
½ cup grated cheese (tasty gives a nice, punchy flavour)
½ cup flour (wholemeal will not be noticed)
½ cup Rice Bubbles
¼ cup melted butter
½ tsp Worcestershire sauce (this really does add depth of flavour)
¼ tsp salt
Pinch garlic powder
Method
Heat oven to 175°
Mix dry ingredients together including cheese
Add butter and Worcestershire sauce together
Mix to form a dough
Roll out between silicon sheets or baking paper (it is a bit fiddly)
Cut into shapes
Bake approx. 10 mins until browning
Cool on a rack
Perfect on their own/in the lunchbox.
Keep well in sealed container in the fridge
