Fresh peas
I love this time of the year and the new foods that come into season. One of our favourites is new peas.
When we have a fussy eater, experiences around food are always valuable. Not making it about the eating is often the best way.
Fresh peas are fascinating, plus they are often an easier ask from a sensory point of view for a picky eater.
There is little smell, a muted taste and they are pretty dry and crunchy, all things that are generally easier for a picky eater than the standard cooked peas.
Many fussy eaters are comfortable with frozen peas for the same reason.
