Chocolate mug cake (flourless)

Ooh, this is a goody on quite a few levels:

1. Super quick

2. Children can easily make

3. Nutrient dense (yep, really is)

4. Flexible (can swap ingredients)

5. Allergy friendly

Because it’s so simple and contains some good nutrient boosting ingredients it’s even good for breakfast (yes really 😊)

Plus, it tastes really nice.

Recipe – Chocolate mug cake

2 tsp cocoa
½ tsp baking powder
¼ cup LSA (or combination of ground nuts/seeds)
1 egg
2 tsps nut butter or regular butter (I used 1 tsp butter + 1 tsp PB )
1 tsp honey/maple syrup
1 tsp pure molasses (or substitute for more honey/maple syrup)

Method

Mix well in the mug
Bake for approx 1 minute in the microwave on high
Eat
