No-bake chocolate cookies
I will not repeat what my rude teen said these looked like … before scoffing the majority!!
These are quick, simple and an awesome nutrient boost.
Because there is no cooking, they are perfect for children to make.
They really do taste fab as well.
Recipe No-bake chocolate cookies
¼ cup nut or seed butter (I used crunchy peanut butter*)
1 ¼ tbs melted butter
¼ tsp vanilla
½ cup crushed nuts
Pinch salt
1 hpd tsp honey or maple syrup
1 tbs cocoa powder
Optional choc chips
Method
Mix all the ingredients together well
Form into cookie shapes and place on a silicon sheet or greased plate
Put in the freezer for approx. an hour until they are firm
Eat!
*Although the base is peanut butter and they are full of nuts they do not taste super ‘nutty’.
