Hi, I’m Judith, and I’ve seen first hand how stressful, exhausting and demoralising it can be living with a fussy eater.

I’m also really, really passionate about food for children and would love to share with you the tools to gently transform mealtimes and social occasions for your family.

Many parents have searched for solutions to their child’s eating for a long time. They have visited the GP, they have tried a whole suite of strategies, and yet are still not making progress.

As the parent, you’re almost always the one best placed to support your child to become more eating competent. No one knows a child better, spends more time or is an invested in outcomes, as a parent.

What you need are the tools. The proven strategies that will work for your child and your family.

The geeky stuff!

I graduated MA Cantab (St.John’s College, Cambridge, UK), have a Post Grad Dip in psychology (Massey University), I’m an internationally qualified Nutritional Therapist, and AOTA accredited Picky Eating Advisor. I also have AOTA accreditation’s in ‘How to identify and treat the sensory component of pediatric feeding difficulties’.

I have completed the fabulous “Raising Likeable, Responsible, Respectful Children”, Jean Illsley Clarke psychology of parenting course and I’m a qualified Telephone Support Worker for ParentHelpline.

I can’t stop, won’t stop learning! I’m in the process of qualifying as a psychologist. The learnings from the field of psychology and the practice of engaging with clients in this way are invaluable – both for my own ongoing professional development and to carry over into my support of you, the families I work with. This year I am working on a thesis exploring how GP’s can work effectively with parents who have children who are selective eaters.

Previously, I spent a few years cooking with children with pronounced food fears – and often additional challenges eg. sensory sensitivities, ASD, ADHD, anxiety – so I have a deep understanding of and empathy for how children who struggle to eat approach food.

The experience I’ve gained by both working with children and now their families has given me the sunshine and rainbows box of tools and strategies that enable me to teach you how to teach your child how to eat well. Even children who have extreme food fears can benefit from our programs.
